History

Once known as Cadur'Kad, “Guardian Blade” in Mando'a, he was adopted into a proud warrior culture known as Mando'ade, but no longer. He has become a dar'manda, because of his training as a jetii. He has long since left the past behind, and taken up the name given to him at birth. His name is Tensa Lightbringer, and he is a Jedi Knight trained to protect the Republic and preserve peace throughout the galaxy. However, this fickle peace is on the brink of degenerating into all-out war once more. Even though the Treaty of Coruscant brought an end to the conflict that gripped the galaxy, the flames of war are threatening to reignite. Given how the most recent hostilities ended, the Republic is rife with fear about another war. The dominance of the Sith Empire’s overpowering strength shocked all but the most courageous warriors into submission. The Republic may have been forced to sign the Treaty of Coruscant due to the surprise attack by the Sith Empire on the Republic’s capital, which led to the destruction of the Jedi Temple, but its heroes are not quite ready to lie down and die.

In reaction to the attack on Coruscant, a group of Jedi Knights, Republic soldiers, and even privateers once hired by the Republic came together to form a secret organization. They were united behind their leader, Tensa Lightbringer, with a dream. This dream was to have a family and a home safe from the threat of the Sith Empire. It was this dream that brought together people who would normally never even so much as look at one another. But leading such a group has never proven a problem for Tensa. Even though he grew up on with Mandalorians, Tensa never felt like he was one. He always felt a bit out of place. His natural differences to those around him caused Tensa to have to adapt and learn to appreciate these differences in other cultures. This upbringing allowed for Tensa to be the perfect leader for what is now known as Outer Haven.

Personality

Tensa is quiet, cool-headed, and calm even under presure. Being apart of the mandalorian culture as a child, Tensa has a sense of honor within him and respects other deemed worthy, even giving them the warrior's death against the Order's beliefs. Tensa would not be drawn in his enemies' taunt nor their bait as he view them as petty insults. He views himself as an equal to his peers and those that follow him, he's very loyal to his warriors and expects the same from them. Impossible has no meaning and everyone always have a choice in a matter, Tensa's will is to always make the right choice, especially if no one else wants too. He would consider himself to be sacrificed first before the thought of sacrificing anyone under his command cross his mind; the first in combat, the last one to leave the battlefield. He values life and those around him and as well as his understanding in the force and the way of life. Against oppression and brutality, Tensa would never use them as a weapon, instead he will inspire and give courage to his allies and strike fear into his enemies. Tensa is a firm believer in action speaking louder than words and utilizes it as such.

Abilities

Tensa is a Jedi Master whose skills are exceptional in saber combat and his mastery of multiple forms. When Tensa started out as a padawan, his master trained him into the arts of the [Shii-Cho Form], it was his master's beliefs that a balanced stance should be the foundations of any lightsaber forms before learning advanced forms. His master knowing full well that Tensa would be frustrated with this at first, it was a way to help unlearn some agressiveness found common in the mandalorians in combat to gain the upper hand over their opponents, while learning to be calm in a battle that was yet taught to the young padawan. Confident that Tensa has mastered the Shii-Cho Form, his master then instructed him to learn the remaining forms and decide which to specalized in. Tensa returned and told his master that he wishes to specalized in the [Juyo Form]. Worried of Tensa's thirst for battle, his master cleverly instructed his apprentice that in order to master the aggressive nature of the Juyo Form, he must first master the [Soresu Form]. Although Tensa started to see through his Master's reasoning, he remedied all doubts when his Master shared his insight on what it meant to be a warrior, a Jedi Knight, to learn and master many forms to be used in any situations that could keep Tensa unpredictiable in any battle would would give him the advantage he needs to win.

Tensa graduated to the full rank of Jedi with a mastery of 3 forms. After mastering the Soresu Form, Tensa decided to devote his 3rd mastery into the [Shien Form] which he felt could be easier to maintain and go along with the Soresu and Shii-Cho Forms. Tensa dropped the idea of using the Juyo Form as he felt it might have been too aggressive for his Master and didn't want to press the issue. Instead, during his own time, Tensa started to dabble into the [Ataru Form] to help mature his control over the force on a fresh level. Tensa learned that in order to keep the peace, one must prepare for war. Many Jedi often felt that perhaps that is a wrong mindset to be in as a Jedi Knight, Tensa often proves that his heart is always in the right place with the sharp skill set to back it up. Not long after Tensa's mastery in the Ataru Form, his Master fell in battle. In his Master's honor, Tensa kept his lightsaber an utilize it with the Ataru Form when situation calls for it, when Tensa's opponent is deemed worthy of a warrior. As Tensa's experience in battle grows as well his power in the force, Tensa felt that it was time to revisit an old idea and obtain a mastery of the Juyo Form before ascending to the rank of Jedi Master.

Remaking his hilt to take on a form both dual sabers and double-bladed saber, a mastery of 5 forms, Tensa dedicated most of his life in pursuit of obtaining perfect balance between mind and body, between the cultivation of wisdom and the study of combat then achieved through rigorous training. Over the years of meditation and training, Tensa cultivate both his experiences as a Mandalorian and Jedi into a perfect instrument of war. Tensa is able to fight in complete serenity, letting the force and instinct guide him in combat. Athough when he switches to the Juyo form, pride, passion, saddness, sorrow, longing, and love would be deep within Tensa over his exterior calmness appearance. Even after the betrayal and the scars left by Zebron Tandrik, Tensa kept his heart in the right place and remembers his goal to create a safe haven and preserve peace across the galaxy.

Appearance

Tensa is 1.85 meters (6'11") in height and weighed at 95.45 kilos (210 lbs). He sports a light brown hair with a full beard. His eyes was hazel before his blindness and now white similar to [this]. Tensa would be portrayed by [Ryan Reynolds]. During the beginning of Tensa's campaign with Outer Haven, Tensa sports a body armor in dedication to the [commandos] in the Republic Special Forces with his robe over it (with blue markings instead of red), sporting a [light tan-ish/cream looking] color along with his [eye band] with similar color/material to his robe. His two light sabers each sport a white and blue color, combined they will form a light blue color due to the color crystals meshing as one, a symbolic union of ideals.
