Family

Stell'ange was born on Tatooine, the second eldest of 5 sisters. Her mother, Étoile Vue-d'ange, is a scientist and a teacher, one quarter Miraluka, though entirely human in appearance. Her father, Casper, born on Nar Shaddaa, was an engineer for Czerka Corporation, who stayed on Tatooine after Czerka left, to marry Étoile. Casper then turned his technical skills to the equipement of moisture farming.

Her sisters are, from eldest to youngest, Sol'ange, Célest'ange, Chérub'astra, and Séraph'astra Vue-d'ange.

The Death of her Father

Eight years ago, when Stell'ange was 20, Casper returned to Czerka, the Corporation having at that point returned to Tatooine. Czerka killed him. With the experiences she has since lived, especially some of her dealings with Czerka on Tatooine, as a smuggler, Stell'ange is pretty sure that her father knew that Czerka would seek to eliminate all who had previously worked for them and turned himself in for execution in order to protect his family. She still misses him though and will not buy a Czerka product to save her skin or her ship.

A Rescue Mission

Six years ago, slavers raided a nearby market, in a raid the size of which rural Tatooine had not seen before, kidnapping a large number of people, 40 of whom were from Stell'ange's village, including her middle sister, Célest'ange. Her eldest sister, Sol'ange, being unwilling to leave the family unprotected and their mother alone with the work of the farm, refused to try any rescue mission. Stell'ange took it upon herself to find as many of the villagers as possible and get her sister back. Her second youngest sister, Chérub'astra, wore her down with her persistence, until Stell agreed to take her along on the rescue mission. The village pooled all ressources in order to give the girls enough to secure a second-hand, well-worn ship from Anchorhead. Stell'ange and Chérub'astra set out to Nar Shaddaa, their first stop trying to track the slavers.

Shortly after their arrival on Nar Shadda, Stell'ange and Cher met a smuggler, who went simply by the name of Ulwan, and who helped them learn the ins and outs of the smuggling trade - who to talk to, who not to talk to, and such. He set his sights on Stell and she fell head over heels for him. He set them up with contacts for some profitable smuggling, to continue to fund their rescue mission. He promised to use his contacts to try to track where the kidnapped villagers had been taken. With his help, Stell and Cher rescued half a dozen people from their village, but still found no trace of Célest'ange. Before long, Stell was spending her nights with him, on his ship. Cher was furious with her and didn't trust their mentor. One night, Stell awoke in the middle of the night to find Ulwan standing over her with a Sith by his side. He sold her to the Sith.

Stell will not talk about what happened to her in the three weeks that she was owned by the Sith, though she will say that it is as a result of those three weeks that she wants nothing to do with trying to develop her force potential.

Cher made a deal with a minor, little known Hutt, Fierfek, to get help to free Stell. The Hutt got her cybernetic implants and provided her with a strike team for the rescue. The cost of Cher's deal with the Hutt was five years of slavery to him.

After two and a half years of searching, and an often painful loss of innocence and education in the smuggling trade, Stell and Cher found Célest'ange, only to have her betray them. Stell and Cher barely made it out alive. Stell has not tried to find anything out about what happened to Célest'ange since that day.

After she had recovered from her ordeal, Stell found out about Cher's deal with Fierfek Hutt. Without Cher's knowledge, she set up a meeting with the Hutt. There, she convinced him to let her take over the debt, and agreed to his price of an extra year added to the time of ownership.

Current Activities

Stell'ange has accepted, for the moment, to run unofficial missions for the Republic. However, this doesn't mean she's quitting her day job. She makes regular smuggling runs, most between Nar Shaddaa and Tatooine, usually with technical or medical supplies. Along with these smuggling runs, she continues to also run smuggling and intel runs for "her Hutt", waiting for her debt to be paid and for her to no longer be owned.

She stops by home, on Tatooine, for a meal as often as possible, but often ends her days at the cantina on the Republic Fleet's Carrick Station - a safe, bug-free place to sleep the night in her ship.

Affiliations

She will not reveal her Hutt affiliations. Currently a member of the Aeternum Ascension guild.

Personality Traits

Stell'ange tends to talk a lot, and sometimes this gets her into trouble. She's sociable, often looking for others to join her on missions, preferring to share the spoils rather than travel and fight alone. She likes to joke and flirt while fighting and travelling, which sometimes gets her into trouble when men take her flirting too seriously.

In her rough start to the smuggling trade, trying to rescue her sister, she got hurt and used a lot. She learned to use her feminine charms to her advantage. She will use others if it helps her in her work or in her goal of getting rich enough to save the galaxy by buying it out piece by piece, but she tries not to hurt those she uses if she can avoid it.

Having peered into the darker underside of society, she chooses to live happily because she refuses to waste any of her life on gloom, though she does still have the occasionnal down or just plain bad day. If she's happy enough, or drunk enough, she may start speaking in French instead of Basic, a language she learned from her mother growing up.

She tends to be too trusting (especially according to her sister Chérub'astra), and has been hurt because of it, but refuses to let that stop her from trusting others.

She has a natural tendancy to try to help those in need of help...a definite sucker for lost puppies and kittens. Unfortunately, this tends to slow down her progress on her grand goal of saving the galaxy through riches, though she may yet save the galaxy with kindness.
