Early Life

Sindol's birth planet. The Outer Rim world, Mirial.
"Finding him was the will of the Force, I have no doubt of that."

Sindol was born nearly sixteen years before the Treaty of Coruscant was signed on an Outer Rim planet that was indigenous to a species of humanoids known for their yellowish-green skin. At the age of three, he was discovered by Jedi Ambassador Hjaak Toi during one of his routine diplomatic visits to one of the Galactic Republic's long-time supporters, the planet Mirial. Force-sensitivity was not uncommon amongst the Mirialans, in point of fact, they were known throughout the galaxy for their rudimentary comprehension of the Force. Such was the case of the nestling, Sindol Sei. His people had served in the Jedi Order for hundreds of years, and thanks to Hjaak Toi, he would be yet another that came to know the Jedi Temple as his home; just like many of his kind before him. So, under Hjaak Toi's care, young Sindol was taken from Mirial to the capital of the Republic where he would be fostered to become a future guardian of peace and justice in the universe.

{2.5 BTC} A Rancor Rapport

The northwestern wing of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where Sindol was trained as a Jedi Initiate.
"Training to become a Jedi is not an easy challenge, and even if you succeed, it's a hard life."

Sindol was trained at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and was apart of the Rancor Clan. Under the tutelage of his clan instructor, Jedi Master Tenten, he was unaware that the Council of First Knowledge had taken particular interest in an unfledged Force connection that was beginning to take root. Master Tenten, being their clan teacher, was the first to discover the bond. It was forever a concern to the Council of First Knowledge, these connections cultivating at such a young age amongst their students. More common and acceptable, was the bond between Master and Padawan. Allowing an attachment, like the one germinating between Sindol and his fellow clan member, to blossom was considered to be a potential precursor to failure amongst Jedi younglings; resulting in their reassignment to the Jedi Service Corps.

Forever aware of Sindol's potential and his faith in his pupil, Master Tenten made arrangements for Sindol to continue training as a Jedi Initiate aboard the Praxeum ship, Oen'mai'ul. The vessel was designed to provide those deemed ready an opportunity to receive training off-world and outside of the Jedi Temple walls in order to ready them for the trials they would face as Padawans. When and if they were ready, they would return to Coruscant to be promoted and to meet their new teacher and master.

{0 ATC} The Sacking of Coruscant Aftermath

Sindol aboard the Oen'mai'ul, just before boarding a dropshuttle to Coruscant.
"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid."

When Sindol was fourteen years old, a female Mirialan Jedi Knight had heard of his efficiency and progress aboard the Oen'mai'ul and decided to pay him a visit. She was pleased with his performance and believed that the Force had drawn her to him, giving cause to her conclusion that Sindol would be her Padawan. Requiring the approval of the Jedi Council, Sindol was flown to Coruscant where he would become a Jedi Padawan under his new master's guidance and instruction.

The Praxeum ship dropshuttle was intercepted in Coruscant space and fired upon by invading Imperial starfighters, causing a premature crash-landing amidst the ruins of Galactic City which had only just been besieged by the recently resurfaced Sith Empire. Injured, but alive, Sindol escaped the crash only to find himself under the heavy oppression of Imperial forces. In an attempt to save himself once again, he ran to a near by ledge and jumped, free-falling to the lower districts of Coruscant's capital.

Concluding his descent, above him, he would see the upper levels masked in smoke and blaster fire. Sindol's retreat had landed him in a dark and desolate sector, where agents of the Empire were staged, tracking down fleeing Jedi and Republic soldiers. Much to his misfortune, young Sei's fall did not go unnoticed. A blue-skinned Imperial agent had observed the young Mirialan's plummet and sought to tranquilize him and deliver him to his supervisors. After a few darts were fired, Sindol was alerted to his Chiss stalker's presence. Dashing into an abandoned cantina, Sindol hoped to hide and avoid capture. It was in this old abandoned cantina, that Sindol would be forced to confront his following foe. However, just as Sindol had made the decision to lash out at his enemy, he was caught off-guard by a Human smuggler who pulled him out of harms way and fired a three-round burst of blaster fire into the agent's midsection, killing him instantly.

Sindol's savior was a street-smart smuggler that was known only as "SS". Many wondered and debated about the title and what the two letters could mean, even Sindol had his own speculation during his time spent with the man. SS escorted Sindol to safety amidst the lower levels of Coruscant in the aftermath of its sacking. Introducing him to an under-city lodge called Ootman's Rest, Sindol went on to reside in the safe-house for the next several years of his life under the care of SS and Raffie, the establishment's Pho Ph'eahian owner.

{5.7 ATC} A Knight to Remember

Accompanied by C2-C4, Sindol enters the Jedi Council Chamber on Tython eager to receive his promotion to Jedi Knight.
"No more training do you require. Already know you, that which you need."

Nearly two and a half years after Sindol returned to Tython to complete his training to become a Jedi Knight, he'd finally completed his trials. Having spent his time on Tython aiding the Jedi Order with their settlement there following the Treaty of Coruscant, Sindol had become readjusted to his true calling. Being present on Tython for the arrival of a Twi'lek colony that inhabited the planet shortly after the arrival of the Jedi, Sindol was able to assist the Order in its difficult role of supporting the Senate's disapproval of the Twi'lek pilgrimage whilst still keeping the violent Flesh Raiders at bay in order quell their attacks on the Twi'leks.

Balancing his focus between physical strength and Force aptitude, when he wasn't otherwise employed on Council errands, the Mirialan Padawan had dedicated almost all of his training toward his chosen path of becoming a vigilant Jedi Guardian intent on obliterating the Dark Side of the Force through lightsaber combat. In this time he became more and more fond of the fundamental lightsaber form, Shii-Cho, which he had been practicing since his training began on Coruscant some fifteen-plus years ago. Confident in his abilities and potential once knighted, Sindol had no doubt that he would be successful in his campaign to exact justice on the Empire and all who affiliated themselves with the Sith.

{6.4 ATC} The Battle of Balmorra

Taking a knee, Sindol attempts to recover as he and the Republic soldiers accompanying him barely survive the destruction of their walker transport on Balmorra.

{7.1 ATC} The Battle of Bogden

Az'jari Tal's Defender-class light corvette, the Farseer, drifting in space as it receives the Bogden distress signal.
The Moon of the Dead, Kohlma, where Sindol Sei and Az'jari Tal first landed during the Battle of Bogden.
Sindol ambushed by another squad of Imperials aboard the Interdictor-class battlecruiser, the Pandemic.
"I don't mind flying, but what you're doing is suicide. "

Just over seven years after the Treaty of Coruscant was signed, the Inner Rim planet of Bogden endured an unwelcome Imperial occupation. Seeking to seize control of the world in order to reap the benefits of its strategical importance, the Sith Empire held orbit in their battlecruisers; securing Bogden space and reinforcing their cause on the planet's surface. In what was a last ditch effort to elude the overbearing clinch of the Empire, a sector-wide distress signal emerged from the planet below. Unaware of the transmission, the invading Sith forces were still prepared to protect their objective at all costs.

Aboard a Defender-class corvette called the Farseer, Sindol and his trusted ally Az'jari Tal were among the few that received and responded to the call for help. Entering Bogden space only to find the planet under the heavy hand of a small Sith fleet, Az'jari Tal gave Sindol the ride of his life, conducting evasive maneuvers toward the nearby Bogden moon, Kohlma. Seemingly undetected, Az'jari Tal was forced to make a rough landing on the rocky Moon of the Dead in order to reassess the predicament the two Jedi had found themselves in. Unbeknownst to them, however, was the impending detection of their landing on Kohlma. A Force-sensitive Sith, in his starfighter, had caught a trace of their presence through the Force. Landing his own vessel nearby to investigate the source of his senses, the Sith warrior found himself at contest with Az'jari. Several paces behind her, Sindol followed suit with his charging colleague, intent on silencing their detector prior to the revelation of their presence. Successful in their objective, though split upon their decision, Sindol and Az'jari captured the Sith with hopes of gaining information that would prove advantageous in what was fast becoming a battle that would be remembered for years to come.

With Republic starships buzzing into view from hyperspace, Sindol and Az'jari sought to aid them by infiltrating and destroying one of the Interdictor-class battlecruisers currently stationed overhead. Once again boarding the Farseer, now that Az'jari's astromech droid had completed the essential repairs that were required, the duo and their hostage were back underway. Finding little to no use for their captive, Sindol jettisoned the Sith into space in the Farseer's escape pod; leaving his fate to the will of the Force. In route to the Interdictor-class battlecruiser, the Pandemic, Sindol and Az'jari were once again attacked; this time by a Dynamic-class light freighter under the command of yet another of the Emperor's hands. Sustaining heavy fire from the suppression of the light freighter, Az'jari was once again forced to make a radical decision at the helm of her corvette. Opting to go for a crash-landing in one of the Pandemic's hangars, Sindol took a tight grip and hoped for the best.

Their destructive arrival aboard the Pandemic was as successful as it could have been under their circumstances. Once on board, Sindol was forced to brave the onslaught of forces aboard the battlecruiser by himself, whilst Az'jari entered the ship's center to disable its reactor core. Battling waves of Imperial officers and soldiers, Sindol pressed onward until he found himself in a duel with the Darth pilot of the light freighter that had been the cause of their destructive drive into the Pandemic. Capable of forgoing the challenges of the solo Sith, Sindol was ill-equipped for the arrival of the Sith Lord reigning supreme on board the cruiser. Unable to withstand the the power of two servants of the Dark Side, Sindol found himself doomed. Fortunately for Sindol, T3-L7, Az'jari's quirky astromech came to his aid, literally shocking the beaten Jedi Knight. Aggravated with the illustrious droid, as always, Sindol and T3-L7 headed back for the Farseer hoping to escape before the battlecruiser met its end. Having attracted the majority of the attention aboard the Pandemic, Az'jari was able to reach the vessel's reactor with success. Despite her encounter with two Sith Force-users, she was able to sabotage the reactor core, causing the Pandemic to lose power which allowed the Republic starships over Bogden to put an end to the battle. Regrouping back at the Farseer, Az'jari was once again in position to make something out of nothing in order to get them off of the Pandemic before its destruction. By way of the Force, the duo accompanied by T3-L7 escaped the Interdictor-class warship with no time to spare.

After the destruction of the Pandemic, the remaining Sith invaders were forced to withdraw from Bogden space. Republic resources were then able to streamline to the planet's surface and remove what was left of the Imperial occupation on the Inter Rim world, rendering the Republic victorious in the Battle of Bogden.
